Tantum is a family-owned company with roots in fine old craftsmanship tradition. The carpentry started back in 1973. Nowadays, our famous Tantum interiors make up the majority of our production and can be found in nursing homes, schools, and other demanding environments across the Nordic region. Another important part of our business is contract manufacturing in large and small series for the automotive industry, boat industry, and construction materials sector. While we have craftsmanship in our genes, we also utilize the latest technology today, with robot-equipped CNC machines and presses for precision gluing of cabinet frames. In the production facility, we manufacture and assemble, among other things, kitchen fittings for public environments and contract manufacturing for the automotive and boat industries. Tantum AB in Malmö needs to expand its production in early 2026 with an additional new colleague, a self-driven and versatile assembler with good experience in wood material.

Job Responsibilities

You will independently perform carpentry and assembly work within production based on specified drawing materials using, among other things, a table router, planer, and miter saw. We believe that you, as a person, enjoy a job with variety and constant challenges.

To fit in, the following is required:

• Experience or education as an assembler, carpenter in wood production/industry.
• Good machine experience from the wood industry/carpentry.
• Good knowledge of reading drawings.
• Good tool experience (screwing, sawing/cutting, milling, drilling, etc.).
• Ability to work independently but also in a team.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Computer skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• CNC training/experience.
• Forklift license.

Note! We are not looking for construction carpenters with a professional certificate.

You are responsible and driven with a forward-thinking attitude. Organized and meticulous to ensure the quality of the final product and logical thinking. You have good social skills as it is important to fit into the group and collaborate with others. We place great emphasis on your interest and attitude.

Work Location & Hours

The work takes place at Tantum's facility in Malmö. Working hours are Monday to Thursday (6:30 AM - 4:05 PM) and Fridays (6:30 AM - 12:30 PM). Collective agreement GS.

Start date is in February 2026.
